Old Business:

1.        Playground installation – The drain was put in and stone filled in around it and water is now draining out of the playground.  Work has been done on spreading stone around the playground.  About ½ of a truck load of stone is left to be spread.  It needs to be shoveled and raked under and around the posts.  Once the stone is spread, the cloth needs to be spread and the cushioning obtained and spread.

2.        Contract for field use – Woody will follow up on the status of the contract with the township solicitor.  The value schedule for mowing the fields was calculated for 32 mowings based on the number of hours each field takes to mow:

a.        Multipurpose field by the road - $7,200

b.        Upper multipurpose field - $5,000

c.        Baseball field - $6,100

A motion to accept the above schedule of field use values for the field use agreement, by Robert Garlin, 2nd by Mark Schoppaul, passed.

New Business:

1.     D & H Fencing representative - Described possible types of fencing that could be used along the road.  He suggested pressure treated board fence rated for 40 years.  He recommended using pressure treated 6” posts with one side cut flat, then put a face board down the front.  The fence would be four feet high fence with eight foot sections between the posts and 4 boards 6” apart.  Their company pounds the post into the ground 3’.  The price is $8.50 per foot.  A split 3 rail fence would be $11.50 per foot.  The bottom of the fence would need to be high enough to allow the mower deck under it.

2.     Robert Garlin spoke with a representative of a family who ran a concession stand previously at a BMX track.  The family would be interested in providing that service for the Park on weekends when there are league games.  30% of the profits would go to the park.  One person in the family would need to be on the board, as non-profits do not require a concession license.
