The advertised regular monthly meeting of the Latimore Township Park Board was held on November 2, 2005 at the Latimore Township Building at 559 Old U.S. Route 15 York Springs, PA 17372. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by Chairman Samuel Giardullo.

In attendance: Chairman Samuel Giardullo, Vice Chairman and Financial Secretary Elwood Myers, Field and Safety Robert Garlin, Secretary Lynn Schoppaul, and Members Michael Patterson and Mark Schoppaul.
Absent: League Facilitator Robert Descheemaeker

Status of the Park Board Account: $6,090.38.
Old Business:
1. Both Sam Giardullo and Lynn Schoppaul provided sample letters to potential vendors for Community Day in the Park. Ideas from both letters will be used to create the letter to be sent to organizations and businesses in Latimore township and the surrounding area. Ideas for attractions and participants were discussed.
2. A donation of $100.00 was received from Rocco's pizza. A thank you letter will be sent. To date, $500.00 has been received towards the park surveillance system.
New Business:
1. A barrier of some kind is needed along the roadway that goes from the parking lot to the shed to keep cars from being parked in the grass near the playground area. Different types of barrier solutions were discussed and will be researched.
2. It was brought to the attention of the board members that the soccer fields are in need of repair after the wet season. The board will work with the soccer league on this matter.
3. Questions were brought up by the new members of the board as to exactly what where fill needs to be put in near the proposed playground. The board members will go to the park Sunday, November 6th, at 2:00 PM to determine exactly where the work needs to be done.
4. A motion was made by Lynn Schoppaul to ask the supervisors to increase the budget allotment for the park by 15% for fiscal year 2006. Michael Patterson 2nd. Motion carried.
