Old Business:
1. Playground installation – Spreading of the stone has been finished. The sides of the “bowl” have been worked on and still need a bit more work. It has been suggested that at least two loads of cushioning be put in over the winter to allow it to settle once the ground freezes. The signs need to be cemented in as well.
2. Contract for field use – The township solicitor reviewed the new field use agreement and approved it. The Board of Supervisors approved it also. The agreement and field fee use schedule have been sent the webmaster for the township website
3. Vandalizim at the park – The multi-use field by Pondtown Road was driven through, and damaged.
New Business:
1. Chemical Application License – Casey Coble’s license needs to be renewed, and changed from commercial to township. The cost would be $75.00 for a 2 year license. The township Supervisors would need to approve it. Chairman Woody Myers directed Casey to obtain all necessary information and provide it to the township secretary for the supervisors review.
2. Date to remove Porta Potty – Walters will be contacted to remove the Porta Potty for the winter.
3. Trees near the air port – Once the ground has frozen, a work day will be setup to remove the trees at the border with the airport.
4. Soil Test – Casey Coble has obtained two soil tests to use at the park to find out what the trees need. When asked about when the trees should be dug up and have the burlap taken off them, she suggested before the buds break in the spring. A motion by Mark Schoppaul, 2nd Michael Patterson to reimburse Casey for the soil test kits, passed.
