Serious criminal activity limited in Latimore Township:
One reason for the limited number of serious crimes occurring in the Latimore Township is, VISIBILITY, of the enforcement authorities. Our police officers are constantly visible and prepared to respond when necessary. At Lake Meade our biggest community in the township, the story is the same. The roving patrol car is constantly visible, and ready to respond if needed. We thank Chief Weigand of the Latimore Police Department, and Nelson Wehler, Security Chief, Lake Meade Community for their outstanding work in keeping all of us safe.
Note: Lake Meade just held an election, and we expect a new Chair Person for the Traffic and Safety Committee. Bob Zangueneh, will attempt to meet with the new appointee as soon as the first meeting of the committee is held.
Next meeting: April 23, 2009, 7:00 P.M., Latimore Township Building, everyone is welcomed.
