Regular Meeting
March 14, 2005
Chairman Dan Worley called meeting to order and led everyone present in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Present: Chairman Dan Worley, Vice-Chairman Larry Dost and Supervisor Elwood Myers
APPROVAL OF MINUTES AND TREASURER'S REPORT
Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to approve the minutes from the February 14, 2005 meeting and the treasurer's report of February 28, 2005. Supervisor Woody Myers seconded the motion. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Police Report - Chairman Dan Worley reported five more crime stopper signs have been ordered and at least two will be placed in the Latimore section of Lake Meade.
Road Report - Chairman Dan Worley reported the road crew has been working on the water problem on County Line road, repairing blow outs on County Line Road, repairing the swale on Latimore Creek Road, filling potholes, working on the Baltimore Road water problem and working on filling out the grant for Hollow Road.
ENGINEER REPORT - None
PLANNING COMMISSION
June J. Leer Shook Subdivision Plan - After review by the supervisors Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion to approve the plan as submitted conditional on all fees being paid. Chairman Dan Worley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion to approve the secretary signing the Non-Building Waiver for this subdivision to be submitted to DEP. Chairman Dan Worley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS - None
NEW BUSINESS
l. Grass mowing at Township Building - Chairman Dan Worley stated a resident asked if he could submit a proposal to mow the grass around the Township Building. It was noted that the resident was not in attendance. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost suggested calling this resident to see if he was still interested.
2. Motion to advertise for Road Material bids - Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to advertise for bids for road materials. Supervisor Woody Myers seconded the motion. Motion carried.
BILLS LIST
Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion to approve the bills list as submitted. Chairman Dan Worley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Julie Brandt, a resident of Lake Meade Latimore Township, was concerned with the proposed Curfew Ordinance. She said Reading has an ordinance which is being enforced. She also reported that Lake Meade Association has not voted on this curfew because they are waiting for Latimore Township.
John Williams stated Reading has an old ordinance that they are now in the process of updating.
Vice-Chairman Larry Dost stated that questions have been asked of the Township solicitor, but as yet the township has no answers.
Chairman Dan Worley stated that before an ordinance is adopted in Latimore Township, the township wants to see the new Reading Ordinance. He also stated the supervisors will be putting a lot of thought into this because we don't want to punish all kids for a few who misbehave.
This was tabled until a later time.

Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion to adjourn. Supervisor Woody Myers seconded the motion. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
