Regular Meeting
June 14, 2004
Chairman Daniel Worley called meeting to order and led everyone present in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

MINUTES AND TREASURER'S REPORT
Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to approve the minutes from the May 10, 2004 meeting and the Treasurer's Report of May 31, 2004. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost seconded the motion. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Copies of committee reports are in the Township Office.
BUILDING PERMITS
After perusal of the permits by the supervisors, Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to approve Building Permits #1236, 1237, 1238 and 1240 and conditional approval of 1239 which needs proof of Workmen's Comp insurance. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ENGINEER REPORT
John Shambaugh stated that the Memorandum of Understanding from the County involves the MS 4 Stormwater Program. Latimore Township doesn't have this, so the plan needs to be tweaked a little. He further stated he plans to run this by the solicitor for his opinion.
PLANNING COMMISSION
Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to approve the Ogburn/Seifert sewage module to be sent to DEP and to sign Resolution 2004-004, which goes with this module. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost seconded the motion. Motion carried.
SOLICITOR REPORT - None
OLD BUSINESS - none
NEW BUSINESS
a. Update Quickbooks Payroll - Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to approve updating the Quickbooks payroll program. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost seconded the motion. Motion carried.
b. Land Use Issues Seminar - Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion for Dan to attend this seminar on July 8, 2004. Chairman Dan Worley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
BILLS LIST
Vice-Chairman Larry Dost made a motion to approve the bills list as submitted. Chairman Dan Worley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT
John Frey reported to the supervisors that he is having trouble getting his house inspections done. He started this project in 2003 and the house is now complete, but he has yet to get his final inspection. He stated that some of the work was not even inspected. Chairman Dan Worley told Mr. Frey that he has a meeting scheduled with American Inspection and he will bring this to their attention and find out what the problem is. After some further discussion on this matter, both supervisors agreed that if American Inspection can't do the job, they would be replaced.
SUPERVISOR COMMENTS
Chairman Dan Worley reported that the township received a letter from Lake Meade Municipal Authority asking the township to adopt a Resolution to support their getting a bond/loan for one and a half million dollars to expand/update their sewage system.
John Williams pointed out that they upgraded the system 10 or 12 years ago and he doesn't remember if they asked for a signed agreement then.
Everett Weiser wanted to know if that was the total or Latimore's portion. He also stated that maybe they need a guarantee from us to get a lower interest rate.
After further discussion, Chairman Dan Worley made a motion to have the supervisors and solicitor meet with Lake Meade and their solicitor to get more information before agreeing to pass a Resolution. Vice-Chairman Larry Dost seconded the motion. Motion carried.
